What spinning reel sizes and specifications can you manufacture?

We produce sizes 500 through 6500 in all-metal and hybrid graphite/aluminum construction, with bearing counts from 5+1 to 12+1 and gear ratios from 4.7:1 to 6.2:1. Ultralight 500-2000 sizes suit finesse and travel fishing; 2500-4000 are the volume sellers for general freshwater and light salt; 5000-6500 cover inshore saltwater and heavier lure work. Shallow long-cast spools are available across the range.

What is the MOQ and lead time for OEM spinning reels?

MOQ is 1,000 pcs per model for stock designs with your branding and 2,000 pcs for custom colours or specification changes. Production runs 25-35 days for stock models and 35-50 days for OEM, plus 2-3 weeks for pre-production sample approval. Full-aluminum models in the 4000+ sizes can be ordered from 500 pcs because the tooling is already in-house.

Should I specify a graphite or full-aluminum body?

Full aluminum costs roughly 40-60% more than graphite but gives a stiffer frame, tighter gear alignment under load, and a premium feel that supports a higher retail price — the right choice for saltwater lines and anything above the mid-tier. Graphite is lighter and corrosion-proof by nature, and is the correct call for entry-level ranges and ultralight freshwater models where weight and price matter more than frame rigidity.

How many bearings should I specify for my target price point?

Each additional bearing adds roughly $0.50-1.50 to the unit cost. As a rule: 5+1 BB for entry-level ranges ($5-8 FOB), 8+1 BB for mid-range ($8-12), 10+1 BB for the 3000-4000 hybrid models ($12-18), and 12+1 BB for full-aluminum saltwater models ($18-38). Beyond 12 bearings the added smoothness is marginal; spending the same money on better drag washers and a machined brass main gear gives a more noticeable improvement.

Do your spinning reels come with CE and RoHS documentation?

Yes. We provide CE marking with the technical file and Declaration of Conformity for EU-bound orders, plus RoHS compliance statements. Allow 2-4 weeks for CE documentation on a new private-label model and factor it into your launch timeline. Salt spray testing to ASTM B117, drag-force verification and bearing rotation checks are run on every production batch by our 5-inspector QC team.
